The 2001 GPFFL Awards & Super Bowl XXXVI Party will be held on Sunday, February 3rd, 2002 at Rob & Tammy Allen's Place in Laguna Hills (more details coming soon). Here's how the MONEY WINNERS finished:

Finishing First in the Overall Point standings and having the high score for FOUR different weeks (Weeks 2, 3, 9 & 15) to win a total of $380, is the Corona Pakerz, owned by Ted Bennett (27k).

The Head-To-Head Super Bowl Champion and having the high score for Week 7, to win a total of $220, is Meltdown, owned by Dave & Danielle Solorzano (15k).

Finishing Second in the Overall Point standings and having the high score for FIVE different weeks (Weeks 4, 5, 8, 12 & 13) to win a total of $260, is Color Blind, owned by Pete Leone (33k).

Finishing Third in the Overall Point standings, and winner of $90, is the Seminoles, owned by Ethan Wyckoff (30k).

The Head-To-Head Super Bowl Runner-up, and winner of $90, is the Lil' Injuns, owned by Bobby Reeves.

The Head-To-Head "Not So Super" Bowl Winner, and winner of $30, is Carolina Carnage, owned by Tony Gurrola.

There were also five other teams that won high score for the week ($20), and nothing else. This years draft was on Saturday, September 8, 2001 at Dave & Kelly Solorzano's house and went pretty smooth.

The draft coordinator Pat Nicholson did a great job with everything that she did to help the draft move along, and I would also like to thank Sheri Bennett (Blow Me and Color Blind) and Nicole Wyckoff (Carolina Carnage) for helping with the drafting of the absentee teams (in parenthesis).
