Obituary

Morgan Rose Scott, age 19, of Tequesta died Saturday, March 22, 2003.

Morgan was born October 9, 1983 in Orange, CA. She grew up in sunny Southern California. Morgan graduated in 2001 from El Modena High School, where she played varsity softball for four years.

She began playing softball at the age of 5 with Little League, and went on to play with the Orange Bobby Sox league and then the ASA Jr. Olympic Softball Team. Morgan played competitive travel ball on many championship teams, including Panthers Gold of LA, Calif.

She was attending Palm Beach College in Florida on a softball scholarship and was going to attend Florida Atlantic University in the fall, also on a softball scholarship.

Survivors include her brother J.B. Scott Jr., parents Sharon Rose and Jay Scott, all of Tequesta; grandparents Marjorie Scott of Hamden, CT, Robert and Adeline Rose of East Haven, CT; and great grandmother Adeline Melillo of Hamden, CT. Also fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2003 at First Baptist Church of Tequesta, 423 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta between the hours on 10am-12noon, where a service will be held at 12 noon. Interment immediately following at Riverside Memorial Park, County Line Rd., Tequesta.
