Memories

My dear precious son, I am proud of the man you've become. I love your sweet, gracious and generous manner - your loving kind ways. I will miss you! When I get to heaven, I will run to you and hug you around your neck and say, "WHAAAAZZZ UUUP?"

Love, Mom

You are everything a father could ask for in a son. A special gift from God, who loaned you to me for 32 years. Now you are back in heaven with your Heavenly Father. I know you are enjoying every moment. I'm looking foreword to seeing you again in heaven one day.

Love, Dad

I am so glad that the Lord gave me a brother like you. You are the best brother a person could ever have. I admire you for your kindness and I'm very proud of all that you have accomplished throughout your life. I will cherish the memories of growing up with you and all of the Sunday dinners at Mom and Dad's. I will miss you and look forward to seeing you again in heaven.

Your Loving Sister, Danielle

You have been a joy and a blessing to me. I love to hear you say "Hi Grama" and lift me up off the floor! What a precious smile you always had, which I will always remember and cherish. I praise God for giving you to our family. To God be the Glory!

Your Loving Grama, Maudie

I only had the opportunity of playing (softball) with him a couple of times. I remember him looking so intimidating, but being so sweet. Gosh, what a huge and horrible loss - he'll be missed.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Troy. I've known Troy since I was 9 years old. We met at Emery elementary school, I remember his dad was a ballplayer and his mom and my mom would go on all the field trips with our class. I know anyone who knew Troy would say he was the sweetest, most easygoing guy you could ever meet, what a doll, he will be terribly missed. My prayers go out to his family and friends and God bless his babies.

Sincerely, Teresa Berardino

It has been years and today I thought of you as Ollie’s former Padres team are playing the Dodgers tomorrow night. I remember you and I playing softball with Keiro, Zack, Joe, David, Jeff and Kevin at Emery School. The nights we used to galavant around the neighborhood on our bikes and hanging out at Keiro’s listening to all the albums upstairs in the loft until his mom would kick us out because it was dinner time. The good times of when we used to work at the antique shop for Cecil Newberry and we would always laugh at Sam or Mathew because they would end up breaking a $1000 mirror or split a $3,000 piece of furniture and Cecil would come outside and tell his son’s every weekend, “your fired, go home!”. Then we would all end up with furniture stripper on our hands and we would all fight over the hose because it burned our hands (Zack’s hands were always the worst). I remember your big old smile and your laugh and you were always pleasant to be around. I look forward to the day brother when we meet again. I can only imaging the glory that you are surrounded by being present with the Father and the Son! You are in a much better place and in a much better body my friend. I will continue to cherish those years that we had together as children growing up . . .
