Troy Brown Obituary

Troy Lynn Brown was born on September 15, 1967 in San Francisco, California. Troy was the oldest of two children born to Ollie and Sandra Brown. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of six years old while attending Grant A.M.E. Chapel. He attended Gilbert and Emery Elementary schools, McComber Junior High and graduated from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California. He took college courses at Cypress College where he received an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration. Troy worked for Federal Express in Rialto, California for eight years and was also a Certified Personal Trainer with 24 Hour Fitness. He married Christina Moses on March 16, 1991. To this union two beautiful daughters were born; Camryn Taylor and Paige Courtney. As an adult he was a member of Cottonwood Christian Center. Troy was a devoted son, brother, father and friend who was always reaching out to help others. His faith, graciousness, love, inspiration, positive spirit, enthusiasm for life, "movie star" good looks and muscular body were qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. On June 15, 2000 at approximately 9:07 a.m., he went to be with the Lord Jesus. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, two daughters, Camryn and Paige Brown; father and mother, Ollie and Sandra Brown; one sister, Danielle Brown; grandparents, Willie and Mayola Brown; grandmother, Maudie Revels; godmother, Francina Carson; uncles and aunts, Willie (Carol) Brown, Oscar (Janice) Brown, Michael Earl (Pauline) Reddins, Craig (Velma) Reddins, Patricia (Henry) Jennings, Linda (Roger) Mendez, Vanessa (Michael) McFarland; mother of his daughters, Christina; many cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Troy will always hold a very special place in all of our hearts. We love you and will greatly miss you. Your memory will remain with us always.
